The Robson Ranch Catholic Community began its Fall 2025 season on Sept. 9 in the RR clubhouse. Pat Bridges said the opening prayer, and then Joan Bridges welcomed new attendees. An election was held at this meeting for the position of president, and Joan Bridges was re-elected as president. The club is truly blessed to have Joan as their leader.

Announcements were then made by Pat Langa, Marge Lane, and Dolores Kearney regarding the SOT Auction, the club’s yearly outreach to Our Daily Bread, and St. Mark’s upcoming Eucharist Miracle Exhibit.

Joan then encouraged members to join any or all of the other groups the club has to offer, such as our Book Club Group, Potluck Group, Faith Group, and even a Ladies Golf Group.

Our speaker was James Pelletier, administrator of Mother and Unborn Baby Care of North Texas, Inc. James is a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army where he spent 11 years in various leadership roles, one being a sniper. His B.S. degree from University of Phoenix focused on clinical psychology. After retiring from the Army, he decided to serve Christ by fighting for the most vulnerable, unborn babies, by devoting his time and talent to the organization, which was founded by his parents Chuck and Pat Pelletier in 1984. In 2018 James moved to Fort Worth to help on a volunteer basis; however, that quickly changed, and now James spends his days fighting for the right to life of all people, from the moment of conception to natural death. James explained how the center works to help women from all walks of life to make their decision to choose life. Most of the women who come to the clinic are being exploited by those around them to choose abortion. However, after speaking to a counselor, watching a video, and seeing a sonogram, 85 to 95 percent of these women choose life. James stated most clearly that his mission is saving souls, not just babies. In light of the fact that the center works strictly on donations from individuals and their donor base has fallen off, they have begun holding organized fundraisers during the past two years. To donate or volunteer, please see their website at unbornbabycare.org.

The RR Catholic Community will be gathering at the RR clubhouse again on Oct. 14. Our speaker will be Deacon Joe Standish speaking on Natural Law. Please join us. All are welcome.
