Robson Ranch Catholic Club met on November 8 at the lovely home of Dr. Bert and Franzi Mullan. We had a wonderful turnout, and about 35 people attended. The guest speaker was Mr. Randy Bollig, the director at the Loreto House in Denton. The Loreto House provides caring and compassionate assistance for those with an unplanned pregnancy. The Loreto House recently moved to a new location on Bonnie Brae, and if you’re out that way be sure to stop by and see this lovely facility. The Loreto House operates on charitable donations only and is always in need for diapers, bottles and baby articles of any kind. For more information you can reach the Loreto House at 940-380-8191.
A short meeting was held, and our yearly Christmas Party was discussed. Bill and Shirley Revering will be hosting the party in their home again this Christmas, and in lieu of exchanging Christmas gifts this year it was decided that they would give a donation to the Loreto House. Marge Lane collected the rest of the Christmas bags for the Daily Bread. Marge informed me that all the donations ended up weighing 200 lbs.
The meeting was followed by refreshments and some fellowship. It turned out to be an enjoyable evening.
