Dec. 13 was a cold rainy day outside, but inside Amano’s Italian Bistro the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with an air of excitement and anticipation as members of the Fellowship at the Ranch (FATR) Church arrived, following the Sunday church service at the Robson Ranch Clubhouse. The table settings were highlighted with candy canes reflecting this year’s theme, “The Legend of the Candy Cane.” For those not familiar with the Legend of the Candy Cane, one version says the candy cane was made to honor the birth of Jesus: the white for his purity, the red his Saving blood shed for us, and the shape a shepherd’s crook (turn it upside down and it is a “J” for Jesus). The lunch started off with prayer by Pastor Ed Jones, followed by announcements and the drawing of the first of many door prizes. After a turbulent year dealing with the effects of COVID-19 on our lives, the holiday party was a wonderful way to come together in fellowship, and joy as we celebrated the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ and our support of each other. The only time the conversations lulled was when the food was served or another door prize was drawn. The luncheon was filled with good food, amazing fellowship, and fun, as we celebrated the birth of our Savior.
You are invited to join us at the Fellowship At The Ranch Church on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in person at the Robson Ranch Clubhouse or on Zoom from the comfort of your home. Come Fellowship with us, as we learn about God’s love and plan for our lives.
