Changes to Tee Times for WLN

Wildhorse Lady Niners gather on the patio to hear the rules of the day and to hear who they will play with on a Wednesday morning.

Do you love golfing with your Wildhorse Lady Niners (WLN) friends but hate the early morning wake-up on Wednesdays? Or are you a morning person who thinks there is nothing better than watching the sun come up over the Wildhorse golf course? Either way, we have something for everyone this year.

You may have heard that things are changing when it comes to tee times for Lady Niners. We will have one course to play on, but an option for you of two different tee times each week. So, once our season gets started, you will receive two invitations: one with an 8:30 a.m. start time and one with an 11:30 a.m. start time. We hope this new configuration will give more golfers a chance to get out on our courses in the morning, especially during the hot months.

When you receive your invitations, choose the one that works for you and respond as usual. You can make a preference of silver tees at this time, too. Each shotgun start will have room for 72 ladies. Once those slots are filled, we will start a waiting list. As always, it’s important to let us know as early as possible if you cannot play so someone else has the chance.

If you’re new to the Lady Niners and this feels a bit daunting, have no fear! We have a new Niners Buddy Program to connect new members with those who have been around for a while. With this program, we hope to help you navigate the weekly sign-up process, as well as the rest of the fun that comes with being a Wildhorse Lady Niner.
