The Robson Ranch Music Club Community Choir again presented a glorious Christmas program to a full house for both performances the weekend of December 17 and 18. Despite the chilly weather, Robson residents, family and friends turned out in their festive Christmas finery. Not to be outdone, the ladies of the choir were attired in their beautiful new costumes, and our gentlemen looked as handsome as ever in their semi-formal attire.
Santa and his elves were on hand to please our youngest guests while popular and traditional Christmas music soared through the ballroom. Director Arturo Ortega donned reindeer antlers at one time during the festive evening and really got into the spirit of the concert, as always.
The concerts were truly a labor of love presented by our wonderful choir as a Christmas gift to all who attended. Mark your calendars now for our spring concert April 22 and 23 and join us as we sing and swing into music we all remember: songs written by Hoagy Carmichael, Rodgers and Hart, Mercer and Mancini, Cole Porter, George and Ira Gershwin and many others. Tickets will go on sale in early April.
The New Year’s Eve Karaoke Party was another outstanding success. Beautiful décor, great food by Chef Aubrey and fun, music and laughter shared with good friends brought in the New Year 2017! A big thank you to Sue Solometo and her committee for a job well done.
