The Music Club is anxious to get back to work. So, plans are in the making for Concerts and Singing and Dancing! Oh My! The Robson Ranch Choir enjoyed the holiday break and now are enjoying getting back to their music. Rehearsals for their Spring Concert began on Jan. 23. The group is just “over the rainbow” in getting to learn this new collection of songs. These memorable movie melodies are sure to bring back fond reminders of the best movies ever. Naming just a few: Ghost, The Sound of Music, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The Spring Concert is planned for April 15 and 16, and you are all formally invited to attend. We will be rolling out the red carpet for this truly premier performance.
A Mardi Gras Karaoke/Dance Festival will be held on Feb. 17 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. A grand Mardi Gras of a time is to be had by all! We are introducing DJ Samson! He promises to get you movin’! No need to work out that day. Samson will get you and your heartbeat up, on the dance floor! A Mardi Gras King and Queen will be crowned, and there will be gold coins to be found! Mardi Gras masks and regalia are encouraged but not a must. Come enjoy dancing, singing, and each other’s company at this kick-off-your-shoes dancing and singing party! A light meal will be offered at an additional cost of $12. Special New Orleans drinks will be at the ready at the cash bar: the Hurricane to get you spinning and the Grenade to blow your mind! The non-alcoholic Hurricane will also be available. Tickets for the dance are $15. Dance and meal is $27. They are on sale in the clubhouse every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until Feb. 15 and are also for sale on PayPal via our website, rrmusicclub.com, for $16 for the dance only and $28.50 for the dance and meal. Be on the lookout for information on our annual St. Patrick’s Day Karaoke, this year on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17. Known as “The Jig Is Up,” it is another night of singing, line dancing, and getting jiggy with it! We love hosting these fun events for our friends and neighbors who love getting out there and having a good time. Thank you for supporting us.
