Lynne Kelsey
On the evening of Nov. 17, a group of Conservative Women of Action (CWA) members and friends gathered at the home of Lynne Kelsey to view Dinesh D’Souza’s newest documentary, The Dragon’s Prophecy. Fortified with popcorn, sparkling cider, and white wine, the women settled in to watch the film, which is based on the book The Dragon’s Prophecy: Israel, the Dark Resurrection, and the End of Days, by Jonathan Cahn. The documentary connects history, current events, and bible prophecy to explore the implications of the Oct. 7 attack on Israel, terrorism, and the presence of dark forces in our world determined to conquer the ultimate prize—the souls of believers.
While parts of the film are difficult to view, others are fascinating in demonstrating how current archeological excavations are proving the accuracy of descriptions found in the Old Testament. One of the most intriguing is a look at the excavation at the city of King David that has provided tangible connections to biblical narratives; filmmaker and narrator D’Souza is presented with a handful of ash that dates back over 2,000 years!
The CWA will be hosting future films that are of interest to conservative women, as well as game get-togethers and twice-yearly luncheons featuring notable speakers. There are no dues, and the group is not associated with any other club at Robson Ranch. Women who adhere to conservative values are welcome at any of our activities. Watch for announcements of future events!
