The recipe submission process for the Kiwanis Robson Ranch Cookbook was successfully completed on April 30. The support for this cookbook was excellent, and a special thanks is extended to all participants.
Residents submitting recipes for the cookbook are now invited to show off their culinary expertise on Saturday, May 17, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Robson Ranch Marketing Center model homes. Each contestant in any of the eight cookbook categories is invited to participate in this contest. Interested chefs will bring his/her prepared dish to be judged at 1:00 p.m. The best chefs in each category will win a blue ribbon for first place and will be featured in the Pioneer Press. Their recipes will also lead each category in the Kiwanis Cookbook.
Everyone is invited to sample the great food between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. Déjà Vu will provide musical entertainment. For more information contact Joan Petrie at 940-262-0265.
