The Robson Ranch Wood Workers are in a frenzy working on all the projects they have for this year’s Craft Fair. The Craft Fair is one of our main fundraising events of the year and is one of the ways we are able to keep our wonderful woodshop operating. It allows us to maintain the equipment in the shop as well as add new equipment when necessary and still keep our annual dues at $50 per year. Among other things there will be pens, chess tables, bowls, decorations, knick knacks, cutting boards, pizza cutters and many more hand-crafted items for sale. The Woodworking Club now has over 165 members, each with a different set of skills and areas of expertise. We frequently have residents come to the shop with requests for custom made items. We welcome these requests even though some present unique challenges. But then after all, if it is made of wood we probably have someone who can figure out how to build it. Don’t forget that we also do furniture repairs.
