Relaxing in the extended social hour, Lavelle and LeRoy shared their stories from the season.
After working in many ways to support the democratic process in the just-concluded elections of 2024, members of the RR Democratic Club gathered in the lounge for our November meeting. Many of our members were poll workers to support secure voting sites, greeters, and in supporting roles for various candidates.
Our gathering was complemented with background live music from the Vic Duncan band in the bar. Food and drinks in the lounge were also a nice change for November. Our featured speaker, Brian Beck, Denton City Councilman, gave us updates on the local political scene, with opportunities to make a difference here in our city.
Pat Kelley previewed our Holiday Party scheduled for Dec. 11 at Salerno’s Italian Restaurant so that everyone could make plans to participate.
