The Robson Ranch Denton Homeowners Association (HOA) Election Committee annually solicits homeowners to determine if they have an interest to serve on the Election Committee. Membership is voluntary, and the committee serves in an advisory capacity and reports to the HOA board. Election Committee members have no operational or management authority but play an important role in service to our community.
The typical skill sets best suited to the committee are as follows:
a) Ability to attend the meetings,
b) Interest in our community’s continued well-being,
c) Involvement in the HOA board of directors election process, and
d) Advising the HOA board on the election process.
As a committee member, you can expect to attend four to six meetings a year, typically in the months of August, September, and October, contributing to the HOA board of directors annual election process. Committee members work with the HOA general manager and oversee the election campaign process. Most importantly, you will sort and verify the administration’s count of HOA members’ votes for the HOA board director. All of this is to ensure the election process and its integrity.
If you are interested in joining the Election Committee, fill out a Committee Volunteer Form located at the HOA office in the clubhouse. The Election Committee chair will contact you.
