Queen Glenda

The Red Hat Ranchers are always looking for new ways to have a good time. On Monday, September 29, the ladies gathered at Queen Glenda Brown’s house to learn how to make fascinators. For those of you who aren’t sure what that is, it is a fascinating type of hat that is worn to mainly attract attention. Mostly these hats sit on top of the head, being fairly fluffy in nature, and can look quite charming when you wear it with exactly the proper tilt to one side. Some very creative designs were produced; maybe it should be said creative and very unusual. Much cutting, stitching and gluing of feathers and jewels was done as the ladies nibbled on the refreshments provided by Queen Glenda and co-hostess Jan Utzman. Watch for these stylish ladies at upcoming luncheons of the Women’s Club and holiday parties.
