The Women’s Ministry of Fellowship at the Ranch Church held a scrumptious luncheon on Feb. 21 with approximately 60 ladies in attendance. The table decorations were very festive as Valentine’s Day was still in our hearts. Our ladies wanted to promote friendship and caring for others. As such, we held a beautiful luncheon to reach out to more women in our community.
Cyndy Ivy, our speaker, from Ridglea Baptist Church in Ft. Worth spoke on our topic of “Win the Lost at any Cost.” She was funny, engaging, and encouraging while reminding us that “life is hard, but God is good” and “If you are a Christian you already know enough to lead someone else to a saving knowledge of Jesus.”
Glynis Ramsey kept us entertained with her wonderful piano playing and led us in song. Rosalyn Culpepper sang a very touching song for us as well. Joann Harty and Pam Dotson introduced a Secret Sister program with a skit to help us keep in contact and learn more about each other. Shirley Waterhouse won a wonderful prize—a spa day for bringing the most friends. Lucky her!
Our hostesses included Darla Mahan, Trinka Taylor, Joann Harty, Glynis Ramsey, and Pam Dotson. Olive Morton did a wonderful job at our greeting table.
We would encourage you to come and connect with us as we continue to love and reach out to each other and our neighbors. Our church meets every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the clubhouse. The Women’s Ministry is active in many ways.
Come see and join our women’s festivities.
