April/May Yard of the Month

The Garden Club presents Clare and Brian Krestzmer, who live at 8201 Cocolobo, as the April/May Yard of the Month. The Krestzmers built their home more than two years ago. Originally, Clare hails from New Jersey, via California and then nearby. Her sons live in Stardust and Harvest, so the grandkids are close. They’ve included a beautiful pool in the backyard, too. Laurel shrubs mixed with hollies surround the pool and provide privacy. Clare worked diligently to include many colors, textures, and sizes in the yard. By the front patio door stands a white limelight hydrangea tree. The front beds include red purslane, azaleas, pansies (for a little longer), red dianthus, pink crepe myrtles, sunshine ligustrum, salvia, pink lantana, and coreopsis.
Stop by and visit, but watch out for the rabbits! They had a great time running around her yard and the neighbors’ yards. Fortunately, they have not eaten any of her luscious plants.
