The Paint & Palette Club is happy to announce that we are planning a wonderful cultural year of exhibitions:
• March 27 to April 1: The “Ism” Exhibition. Below is part one of the lists of “ISMs” that I created for our residents to know and study. I will publish the second half for next month’s issue.
This exhibition will have a “Match Up the Artist to the Ism that Fits the Painting.” Residents will have an opportunity to once again participate in this event. Three residents could win an original piece of artwork! So, brush up on your art history! The opening reception is planned for March 29 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• May 28 to June 3: The Painted Chair Exhibition. The opening reception is on June 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• Sept. 25: Artist Crawl. More information to follow.
• Oct. 13 to 20: Another Easel Exhibition. More information to follow.
In addition, Francesca Romano will be sending out invitations to RR residents to attend her One Woman Exhibition at the Greater Denton Arts Council Festival Hall Gallery, April 5 through July 23. More information to follow.
