Because of scheduling demand at the Clubhouse, the May general meeting of the Gun Club was held at 7:00 p.m. Having an evening meeting was an opportunity for those still working to attend. The meeting was sponsored by Selinda Rainey from Texas Law Shield. Selinda invited a Texas Law Shield gun law specialty attorney, Emily William Taylor from Houston, Texas to speak. With a speaker this qualified, the room was overflowing with close to 80 in attendance. The feedback from the meeting was extremely positive! Emily covered Texas law in using deadly force. She mixed in real life experiences with a clear and focused message on the law of defending yourself, family and others.
In addition to monthly general meetings, the Robson Ranch Gun Club includes seven groups including the Women’s Group, Reloading Group, Clay Target Group, Tactical Handgun Group, Retired Law Enforcement Group, Hunting Group and Antique Gun Group.
