At our monthly meeting, Peter Hollatz and Ron Ice made a presentation on Christmas photography. Peter showed us some new approaches to taking Christmas lights and family photos. Ron showed us family photos and stressed how important it is to have fun with your family members when photographing them. He stressed not to take the typical posed family photo of everyone standing at attention against a bare wall saying cheese. Instead take photos of your family involved in activities during this wonderful season. Do not make the photography the main event but instead, have fun with your camera and let your subjects feel relaxed and able to enjoy the festivities.
