“What’s new?” is a standard greeting uttered by Robson residents as they greet one another. Carrying this greeting a step further, the Robson Red Hat Ranchers travelled to the sales center to discover exactly what is new. Linda Drinkwater, one of the original sales agents for Robson Ranch, greeted our group. A hot question covered new trends seen by the sales staff. Upgrade tiles and floors, antique or painted cabinets, three-bay garages and in-suite options were some of the major design trends. Less interest was shown for fireplaces and bathtubs. Linda stated that Robson has hired a Texas architect to give the new homes a more local feel and authentic look. A ringing endorsement was given by the Red Hatters to the restructured design process. Now home buyers have their own personal builder assigned to them. Each week during the building process the builder will be in touch with the buyer to cover changes, corrections or modifications. The objective is to avoid the after-closing punch list. Also a seven-day period will be observed between the final walk-through and closing.
Linda ended her presentation stating that 2013 was a good year for Robson Ranch, and this year looks just as promising. As the Red Hat Ranchers departed for lunch at the Grill, they finally knew the answer to “What’s new?”
