The Humbugs at Nokona Glove Factory

The Humbugs at Horton’s Classic Car Museum
Janis Peters
Braving wet weather on June 3, the Humbugs left Robson Ranch on a field trip to Nocona, Texas. It was well worth it! Their first stop was a tour of the Nokona Glove Factory, a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at how the only baseball glove made in America is still made the “old fashioned” way with pride. After a true Texas lunch of chicken fried steak, the Humbugs headed around the corner to Horton’s Classic Car Museum. What a trip down memory lane. The museum has an unbelievable collection of Corvettes plus classic cars of all shapes and sizes, 130+ cars in all. On the trip were Humbugs Ray Peters, Mike Bower, Rich Heidebrecht, Lonnie Batten, Rich Lipke and Ben Tillman. Missing was FC Levrier.
