Lynne Moore
The JFG met on September 9 to share in the fun, companionship, and delectable goodies that we all enjoy. Sunday’s brunch was hosted by Lynne and Bill Moore and was attended by over two dozen residents, including some new folks, who recently moved to the Ranch. It was also the beginning of the Jewish New Year as Rosh Hashanah began at sundown. September 18 is the most holy day in Jewish tradition—Yom Kippur, or our Day of Atonement. The JFG is an organization that comes together to share stories of family, the latest travel adventures, personal stories and what’s new. Only one person of a couple has to be Jewish to join and many of our members are of different faiths, but we really enjoy each other’s company. If you are interested in coming to our brunch, we meet on the second Sunday of the month at 11:00 a.m. in the Bandera Room of the Clubhouse. Please call our President, Susan Cohen, at 214-808-0921 for more information. We look forward to seeing you at the next brunch on October 14.
