Kiwanis Club Honoring ‘Women in Kiwanis’

Kiwanis Club

The Kiwanis Club of Robson Ranch announces “Women in Kiwanis,” a program to raise the awareness of women working to make their community a better place through their Kiwanis Club. “Women in Kiwanis” is a significant part of the Texas-Oklahoma district governor’s programs for 2024.

The Robson club recently honored Susan Galbraith with recognition of her steadfast work in Kiwanis to support the kids of the world. Barbara Leurig, president, presented Susan with a beautiful award, and a contribution was made in her name to the Texas-Oklahoma Foundation, which provides scholarships to students to attend leadership training.

As a Kiwanis member for over 20 years, Susan has served in leadership roles multiple times and was a founding member of the Robson Ranch club in 2007. Susan’s volunteering spirit has led to numerous new members joining the club. Kiwanis is a family affair at the Galbraiths’ where Susan is supported by her husband Jim, a long-term Kiwanian who has served as a district governor and in many other leadership roles. When not singing in the Robson Ranch Music Choir, participating in many activities at St. Mark’s Church, and being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Susan is usually the first to volunteer for a Kiwanis activity.

The Kiwanis Club members appreciate Susan’s dedication and spirit, as she contributes so much to making the world a better place for kids.
