At its August 5 meeting, the Kiwanis Club of Robson Ranch inducted the largest number of new members ever and achieved its highest membership with some 76 members. President Barbara Leurig welcomed the new members and presented each with their Kiwanis pin. Each was formally introduced; the new members include: Barry and Maureen Pocock, Scott and Lynne Barringer and Eric and Nancy Traschner.
The featured speaker for the meeting was Kathy O’Keefe who discussed the important struggle in this nation to “Win the Fight” on drug abuse.
Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time.
