You like kids and would like to help them, but you really don’t have much time, and you would have no idea where to start? Do we have an opportunity for you!
Meet Courtney Martin, Community Engagement Specialist for Denton Independent School District (DISD). You pick the one hour a week when you are most available. You pick the grade level and the subject, or maybe you would just like to hang out with a student who needs some attention? You travel but wouldn’t mind subbing once in a while? No worries! Courtney will do the rest!
After your application is approved, Courtney will give you a call. Most programs begin in early October, but students need help throughout the year.
Some child in DISD needs help and can’t wait to meet you. Be prepared to lose your heart.
