On May 17 Robson residents Tiffany Ramzy and Aasha Jones gave a presentation entitled “Safe and Secure Online Adults.” The presentation, which was open to the Robson community, covered identity theft; case studies of common scams geared towards older adults (such as AI scams and romance scams); malware, ransomware, and phishing; how to prevent being scammed; and what to do if you have been scammed. Those in attendance left well-informed and ready to implement and share their new knowledge. Some even had stories to share about friends or relatives who have also experienced scam attempts.

Tiffany is the Head of Compliance and Risk for a global software development company where she oversees Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliance for an eCommerce platform. She holds an ISC2 certification in cybersecurity, as well as ISACA certifications for Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Aasha is an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Officer for a financial services company and holds numerous brokerage registrations, TX Life & Health Insurance, and financial crimes certifications (CFCS and CAMS).
