Lions Club – September 2025

Lions Club News

Steve Arden

On July 17 and 24 the Robson Ranch Lions Club asked our community to help support the folks in Kerrville, Texas, after the devastating floods that occurred on the 4th of July weekend. Our community eagerly stepped forward and demonstrated the love and kindness that Robson Ranch residents are known for. The Robson Ranch Lions collected over 2,000 pounds of goods, which included paper goods, cleaning supplies, water, mops, shovels, brooms, and everything else you can imagine that is needed to begin to rebuild and restart lives after the terrible tragedy in Kerrville. Additionally, the folks at Robson added over $10,000 in monetary support, which was above and beyond all our expectations! Thanks to Adams Furniture, we were able to rent a trailer to deliver all these goods to Kerrville, as they generously donated the necessary funds. Additionally, Rodney Landscaping Services made a monetary donation. Thank you, Adams Furniture and Rodney Landscaping Services!

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Shelbi Berg for her support in getting our message out to the community, making sure everyone was involved. The Robson Ranch Lions will continue to say thank you, Robson Ranch, for your continued support of the Lions and what we do as a club and a community. We encourage you to continue supporting our initiatives and invite you to join us at our next meeting to learn more about how you can help.

We are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support and dedication to the Lions Club and our community.
