Living Well Committee Vendor Spotlight: Veteran’s Liberty Ranch

“Farm to Fork Grass-fed Beef!”

From the stress of a career in banking to the country life of a rancher, Michelle Smith and her young daughter Allison began selling their longhorn cattle products to their community in 2019/20 during the COVID-19 era, a time when beef was scarce or unaffordable. The need stretched to other communities. As the demand increased, Michelle forged a partnership with another rancher, Julie Green, who shared Michelle’s common values, work ethic, and goals to promote healthy beef.

Their beef is grass fed, locally raised, hormone and antibiotics free, regenerative, and rotationally grazed. It’s a full-time job for these ladies—one they enjoy, although they do get help from family.

The name Veteran’s Liberty Ranch was coined for Michelle’s husband Chris who is a 36-year veteran. From all of us here at Robson Ranch, we salute you and thank you for your service.

If you haven’t met Michelle, I encourage you to stop by, say hello, and learn about her beef products, or you can place orders online at veteranslibertyranch.com and pick up your product on our Friday Market Day. The beef can be purchased in individual packages and bundles and is also sold through a monthly subscription with a substantial discount. Any way you purchase it, the offerings will be more tender and healthier.
