The morning of Saturday, March 19, was met with wind-chill temperatures of 36 degrees and winds gusting to 24 miles per hour. But these conditions weren’t enough to deter the diehard fans of the monthly Living Well Walkabout. Starting out from Veterans Park at 9:00 a.m. the walkers were bundled up in coats, hats and gloves. The colder weather undoubtedly helped speed up the pace, as they were makin’ tracks along the three-mile route. It didn’t take long to warm up, and soon the gloves came off and the coats were unzipped.
Walking may be the simplest way to work out. You can do it almost anywhere, and it’s a snap to get started. Just put one foot in front of the other. So come on out and join us on the third Saturday morning of each month for the Living Well Walkabout. Want more information?
