The following is a synopsis of The Wormhole Project, the first novel in four very good reads.
A Government research agency recruits Dr. Harry Stevenson, from Cal Tech, to lead a project to develop a top secret, high-risk wormhole system technology to facilitate deep space exploration in the far reaches of the galaxy. What starts out as a gift to allow humanity to explore the stars quickly becomes a struggle to complete the project and defeat terrorists who infiltrate the project with a single objective—to steal the technology to develop a weapon of mass destruction. In a final showdown the terrorists bring their doomsday device on line and give the United States 24 hours to surrender. Harry and his team become the last line of defense to defeat the most indefensible and horrific weapon system ever developed and save America from total destruction.
