Robsonites with motorcycles, those who used to ride or thought about riding—we want you! Come join us for a ride. We’re arranging rides where you can take your four-wheeler with the group. Enjoy a scenic ride with great weather and then some good food while talking about club trips. Join us for a few hours and take the opportunity to share your stories of great rides from the past! If you are in between motorcycles or considering getting back in the game with a new two- or three-wheeler, feel free to participate with your car. Spouses are welcome! Look in the HOA Daily Announcements for information or contact a club member.
On Sept. 26 the club rode to Lucy’s On The Square in Celina for brunch. We will tell you about it in the next article. The annual ride to Granbury was Sept. 29 and 30. Good food, shopping, sightseeing, and we saw the musical 9 to 5. The annual Autumn Color Tour in Arkansas is Oct. 15 to 20.
C4KR Update with Corrected Date. The annual C4KR (Coats for Kids Ride) will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25. We will begin back at Denton ISD C.H. Collins Athletic Complex located at 1500 Long Road, in Denton. Registration is from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., and Kick Stands Up is at 11 a.m. Don’t worry about eating. Crown Catering Texas and DonutNV Denton, will be there to satisfy your hunger. And you can listen to tunes pumped out by Mics ‘n Sounds.
The cost of this ride? Each driver and passenger must bring one new coat for a child 5 to 18 years old. Please leave the tags on the coats. We want the kids to feel what it is like to get something new! We have learned that there is a need for larger coats for larger kids and hoodies for high school kids. (Please do not bring used coats, as they will not be accepted.) If you don’t have time to pick up those coats, you can buy a coat for $25 at registration.
This is a police-escorted ride through beautiful North Texas back roads as we make our way to American Eagle Harley-Davidson located at 5920 S. Interstate 35 E, Corinth, TX 76210, where the party begins.
If you can’t make the ride, we would love you to meet us at American Eagle Harley-Davidson. You can donate new coats there, too. Enjoy live music, a 50/50 raffle, a chance to win free Whataburger for a year, and Hip-Hop Hibachi and On Point Wings food trucks, too.
The RR Motorcycle Club will ride to the event from the clubhouse.
More details about the ride and the event will be forthcoming. For more information about the Coats for Kids Ride, go to www.coatsforkidsride.com.
