The Movie Lovers Group at Robson Ranch held its September meeting at Randy and Debbie Johnston’s house. Many of the members were traveling this month, but the remaining crew carried on and graded a number of movies. Co-leaders Jere Bone and Bill Frey called the meeting to order. The movie that many saw was Florence Foster Jenkins and they rated the movie as a definite two thumbs up. Ben-Hur received a mixed review as some enjoyed the movie and other felt it was less than engaging. The chariot scene, however, was truly thrilling. Because Hell or High Water was only recently released to a few theaters, a few members were able to view the movie. They gave the movie a two thumbs up for content, action and drama. Next month the group will fan out across the metroplex to watch Sully, Bridget Jones’s Baby and Hell or High Water. Watch for the reviews next month!
