Music Filled the Night!

Sentimental Journey (front row)

Fellowship At The Ranch hosted its fourth concert, “Sing in the New Year,” featuring Sentimental Journey, a barbershop quartet, on Jan. 24. More than 400 free tickets were distributed to Robson Ranch residents and guests. The clubhouse was filled with the sound of four-part harmony as the men of Sentimental Journey sang a selection of gospel and traditional barbershop songs. In addition, their parodies on various songs had the audience laughing, especially their rendition of “You Gotta Have Skin.” As the concert concluded with the last planned song, they received thunderous applause and a standing ovation. The audience started calling for an encore, which they received. The men of Sentimental Journey have been delighting audiences for over 30 years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and our concert was no exception.

Attendees were given the opportunity to participate in a “freewill” offering benefiting the Jesus Film Project, a movie about the life of Jesus taken directly from the Gospel of Luke and produced by Campus Crusade for Christ. This movie has been translated into over 2,100 languages. Thanks to the generosity of those attending, we raised over $1,700.

Fellowship At The Ranch Church was delighted to bring this special concert to the residents of Robson Ranch and their families.
