The Republican Club is excited to announce that the National Committeewoman from Texas from the Republican National Committee (RNC), Toni Anne Dashiell, will be our guest speaker for the November monthly meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 6 p.m. in the clubhouse!
There is only one committeeman and one committeewoman from each state on the RNC. Toni Anne has been serving as the National Committeewoman since 2013. She was reelected in 2016 and 2020, and will be running again in 2024. With the blessing of President Trump, Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel appointed Toni Anne to the Committee on Arrangements for the 2020 Convention. Her involvement in the Republican Party stretches back to 1968 when she worked on a presidential campaign with Teenage Republicans.
Mrs. Dashiell has been a leader of leaders for years, and her exceptional service is regularly recognized. She received the Ronald Reagan Leadership Award from the National Federation of Republican Women in 2009. Currently, she trains existing and future Republican leaders at many levels, in addition to fulfilling her duties on the Republican National Committee. Her guiding principles are Lead, Listen, and Learn.
By working together, learning from each other, and sharing thoughts and ideas, Toni Anne says that we can create the strongest possible teams. That is why she offers weekly emails, interviews, and Zoom calls to equip the grassroots with up-to-date information on Party business, legislation, and news. These efforts have provided grassroots Republicans with direct access to Party and elected leaders and, consequently, more information, so we can all learn and work together.
Toni Anne believes listening is key to building a successful team. By listening to each other, we can best work together to promote our values and principles while simultaneously securing a bright Red Texas future. She has worked tirelessly to empower people to be leaders in their neighborhoods, communities, and all across Texas. Though it is hard to follow our own Texas Agricultural Commissioner as our monthly speaker, Toni Anne will be sure to inform and inspire.
