New Life Church Has Some Exciting News!

April Klendworth

Over the past season, we have been prayerfully searching for the right person to serve as our Robson Campus Worship Coordinator, under the guidance of the Creative Arts Pastor. At first, it felt like searching for a needle in a haystack, but we trust that when God leads, He provides. We had a need, and God has answered with a faithful solution.

God has faithfully provided someone who aligns with our vision—to help the Body of Christ deepen their roots in faith through personal and public worship. We believe worship is more than a performance; it’s a daily lifestyle. It’s about a deep relationship with Jesus, not just singing on a platform. Our goal is to lead and guide the congregation in hymns and choruses that truly connect hearts with God’s.

We are excited to introduce April Klendworth as the new Worship Coordinator for the Robson Ranch Campus.

April is a compassionate worship leader who encourages others to use their musical gifts to honor God. She believes everyone is uniquely valued and seen by God. Her musical journey began early on when she traveled with her dad’s gospel band, The Sounds of Joy, to towns, coffee shops, Bible studies, and revivals. During her time at the University of Texas at Austin, she was a member of the Concert Chorale, which performed nationally. Later, she supported her sister’s Nashville singing career.

April feels that God has been preparing her for worship ministry her entire life. She finds joy in serving God’s family through music. She holds a Bachelor of Science in hotel and restaurant management from the University of Houston’s Conrad N. Hilton College. For 12 years, she worked in hotel sales management before choosing to raise her two children, whom she homeschools with love.

Having grown up in worship ministry at Grace Bible Fellowship Keller, April has over 20 years of experience leading and assisting in worship. She has hosted worship events in parks and camps for American Heritage Girls where she is a Troop Shepherd. In her free time, April enjoys gardening, watching sunsets with her son Casey, reading to her daughter Sage, exploring new restaurants, and dreaming of future trips with her husband Chad.

April is eager to get to know everyone at New Life Church and looks forward to serving with an open heart dedicated to worship and community.
