Robson Ranch residents now have a new shopping destination with the recently opened Tanger Outlet Mall at 15853 North Freeway in Fort Worth.
The grand opening celebration was held recently and included fireworks, a vintage photo booth, carnival games, food trucks and celebrity appearances from Drew and Jonathan Scott of HGTV’s show, Property Brothers.
Construction on the center began in October 2016 and is the signature outlet retail component of Fine Line Diversified Development’s Champions Circle, a commercial mixed-use real estate development adjacent to the Texas Motor Speedway. Tanger Outlets in Fort Worth is now home to approximately 350,000 square feet of retail space and features more than 80 upscale brand name and designer outlet retailers. It is Tanger’s fourth outlet mall in Texas.
“The new Tanger Outlet Mall provides Robson Ranch residents a great new shopping venue to explore,” says Brian Boylan, Senior VP of Sales, Robson Ranch Texas. “As our community continues to grow, new retail options nearby give our residents more and more options to choose from.”
The new center, which is approximately 93 percent leased, features more than 75 upscale brand name and designer outlet retailers including H&M, Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Children’s Place, Nike, Levi’s, Banana Republic, Express, Guess, Restoration Hardware and many more. Tanger Outlets Fort Worth is expected to create more than 900 full and part time jobs and is estimated to generate more than $10 million in additional state and local sales tax revenue.
“We are excited to provide a world-class retail destination to the residents of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and contribute to the city’s economic growth,” said Steven B. Tanger, chief executive officer of Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. “We have enjoyed working with the local government here, and hope to continue to provide positive economic growth to the state, as well as a first-class shopping destination for our customers.”
