Norma Thomason, along with her three daughters, hosted her annual Christmas Open House at her home on Grandview Drive on Dec. 5, and it was well attended by members of New Life Church, as well as friends and family of the community.

Norma’s home was lavishly decorated with trees and Christmas décor, with a total of 10 trees located throughout the house, each decorated featuring various themes.

Norma began hosting a Christmas Open House 22 years ago when she lived in Midland, Texas. When she arrived at Robson Ranch in 2016, she brought her open house tradition with her and held her first Robson Christmas Open House for members of New Life Church. Since that time, she has hosted an event each year and has expanded the invitation list to include other residents, friends, and family.

Her event was well attended this year, as in the past. The refreshments were delightful, and Santa and Mrs. Claus were in attendance and provided music and photo opportunities.

While Norma says it takes a tremendous amount of work to put together the open house, she receives a tremendous amount of joy from sharing her home with others.

We hope to see everyone next year.
