The Robson Ranch Music Club is sponsoring the annual Scary-Oke Dance/Karaoke Party. The spook-tac-ular event is on Friday, Oct. 25, from 7 to 10 p.m. Get your costume ready for the best costume/kara-oke party at the Ranch. Costumes are not mandatory, but having a frightfully fun time is. It is unimaginable to think anyone would want to miss out on this much fun! Come show off your creative, funny, or scary costume for a chance at winning a prize! You most certainly don’t want to miss out on seeing Bert Zeitlin and her Line Dancing Ladies treat us to a performance once again this year. Last year the group practically brought the house down! This year they have a routine to “Men in Black” at the ready! I’m not tricking you! It will be a treat! All Access DJ, 10-year DFW winning DJ, will be pumping out the tunes to get you moving and grooving on the dance floor.

Tickets are on sale now for $16 via PayPal at our website rrmusicclub., and in the clubhouse for $15 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 9 to 11 a.m. Oct 7 through Oct. 25. There are no sales on Oct. 11. For ticket sales info, contact Linda Kurita at [email protected]. It’s a ghoulishly good time!

The Robson Ranch Choir will honor veterans in their annual Veterans Day Concert. Patrons will have two chances to attend this most reverent concert. The performances are on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. You will be hard pressed to find a ceremony to honor veterans better than this concert does here at the Ranch. The Veterans Day Concert was the first concert the choir performed 20 years ago! Wonderful patriotic songs will be sung, such as “God Bless America,” “This Is My Country,” and “I Hear America Singing.” Also, for some nostalgia, songs considered national treasures and some that became popular during wartime will be performed, such as “Love Me Tender” and “Home on the Range.” The ladies will get your feet a tappin’ when they perform “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” while the men bring a tear to your eye with “Homeland.” Do yourself a favor and make sure you get to this concert. Do not be shy in honoring those who have served our country and especially those who gave their lives doing so. We have more than 500 veterans living at the Ranch. Come to honor them. Give all our veterans at least this one day! It has been a longstanding tradition to give veterans a free ticket to the concert. Go to our ticket desk (clubhouse) to receive the free ticket.
