This year’s HOA Clubs and Activities Open House attracted new interest from our Robson Ranch community inquiring about club membership. Artists Judy Riffel, Janet Coddington, and Jan Marx each enjoyed doing art demonstrations for the bystanders. Many folks stopped to admire the artwork in progress as they ambled through the hallways of the Robson Ranch clubhouse. Also present were Ann Swirczynski, Mary Riewe, Sue Solometo, and Rosie Bouse. A good time was had by all, and we look forward to meeting the new folks who expressed an interest in joining the Paint & Palette Club.
Our new window display design has been set up in the CATC by Julia Kellogg and features artwork from several of our member artists. Ray Blanton has a variety of his unique portrait paintings. Bob and Sandy Hestes entered a selection of their works for the display. Our president Judy Riffel, Jan Marx, Mary Riewe, Beverly Armstrong, and Julia Kellogg have fascinating pieces on display. Please take the time to visit our gallery in the CATC for a treat to the eye. Our members range from beginning artists to very seasoned and experienced artists. Those with expertise are happy to coach new members and occasionally offer classes which require preregistration.
Membership for the year for the Paint & Palette Club is $10. Third Monday experiences are a class or workshop. Flash Fridays are often spontaneous and announced previous to the date. The room is open for members to work on personal projects on Mondays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Take time to enjoy Paint & Palette’s attractive window displays in the CATC building, as they change throughout the year.
