The Robson Ranch Photo Club held its monthly general session meeting on Jan. 19 in the Creative Arts and Technology Center at 7 p.m. The main program was the presentation of the annual awards for Photographer of the Year and Image of the Year. The Photographer of the Year award is based on the cumulative scores received by club members who enter images into the club’s monthly photo competition. The Image of the Year award is determined by an outside judge who reviews the highest-scoring images from the year’s competition entries and selects the winning image. Club members receiving awards were Frank Barnhart, Michael Patterson, Robert St. Jules, Steve Simpson, Ron Bautsch, Clay Hodson, and Jerry Schlesinger.
The club also reviewed the results from individual club member entries for the November “Still Life” monthly image contest. The viewing of these images is always a fun and educational part of the meeting.
Another meeting activity was the showing of individual member’s images from a fun, holiday-themed club activity where individual members photographed holiday lights in the community.
