The Photo Club presented a workshop on Nov. 5 in the Creative Arts and Technology Center. The workshop was open to all Robson Ranch residents.
Club member Dick Remski led a discussion about still life images, including what they are and how to take interesting photographs of these inanimate objects. Dick provided examples of still life photographs and explained how to get still life images regardless of what equipment you use. You can get good images in this genre with a cell phone, point and shoot, or any other form of camera. After Dick’s introduction to the topic, club members were able to participate in a hands-on session of photographing various objects, which were set up in order to practice capturing the still life image with their own camera.
More information about the Photo Club can be found on the club’s website at rrphotoclub.org.
