Pray, Praise, and Play Groups Continue to Grow

Three years ago, Women Sharing Hope started a new program to encourage women to form groups that would support each other through whatever life had around the corner. This group bonded quickly as they shared their trials, challenges, and their praises. Prayers for children, spouses, finances, health, and more allowed these women to encourage and strengthen each other through difficult times. Then when there were praises, which there were many, all celebrated God’s mercy and grace.

How Pray, Praise, and Play (PPP) works is that each month there is a different host who decides where they will go to pray, and then to play. The hostess is encouraged to pick out something they have always wanted to do but haven’t gotten to do, so they attempted to play Frisby golf, tried to get out of an Escape Room, played laser tag, wore their favorite hats for a high tea, had a pool game party, picked flowers, and much more. The success of this group has now doubled, and Women Sharing Hope is ready to kick off groups number 3 and 4.

PPP groups’ mission is to encourage lifelong friendships as we encourage and love each other while growing in our walk with our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Women Sharing Hope exists to develop friendships, grow in faith, and share God’s love. We meet the third Friday of each month at 10 a.m. at the clubhouse. Watch for the Punchbowl invitation with your special invite each month. (Note: this month only, we are meeting on the second week instead of the third week.)
