Such a display of delectable food you can only see on a cruise ship! For the business meeting of Red Hat Ladies With a Hattitude, Jean Euker opened her home. And we, in turn, opened our mouths for some good food and good talk. Jean and her helper hostesses put out a breakfast food display that could not be matched by anyone. For protein Jean served mountains of fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon piled high, mounds of savory scotch eggs and an ocean of enticing chipped beef and toast. Of course there were plenty of carbs to balance our meal. Berries were piled high, blueberry muffins were on display and there was cinnamon coffee cake to die for. And the coffee, tea and other drinks flowed freely while we took our time eating and catching up on everyone’s holidays. After our tummies were full we got down to the business of planning our events for the coming year. Obviously the great food put us in good spirits because we have some exciting events on our agenda for 2017.
