Republican Club Celebrates Christmas

On Dec. 3 the Robson Ranch Republican Club welcomed members and guests to a joyful Christmas celebration at the Robson Ranch clubhouse. The evening combined holiday cheer with civic engagement, bringing together neighbors for fellowship, music, and an inspiring message.

The highlight of the evening was a keynote address by Rafael Cruz, father of U.S. Senator Ted Cruz. Known for his passionate advocacy of faith, family, and freedom, Mr. Cruz delivered a stirring talk that blended personal stories with reflections on America’s founding principles. His words resonated with attendees, underscoring the importance of civic responsibility and the values that unite the community during the holiday season.

The night was enhanced by sponsorships from community leaders, elected officials, and candidates. Special thanks to those who contributed: Lisa Dyer, realtor with Contre Management; Senator Joan Huffman, candidate Texas State Attorney General; Senator Mayes Middleton, candidate Texas State Attorney General; Aaron Reitz, candidate Texas State Attorney General; Valerie Roehrs, candidate Denton County Commissioner Pct. 4; and David Wylie, candidate Denton County Commissioner Pct. 4, for their top-level sponsorship. Adding to the festive atmosphere, the musical group Odessa performed a selection of Christmas favorites. Their lively performance filled the clubhouse with holiday spirit, encouraging guests to sing along and celebrate the joy of the season. The combination of music and fellowship created a warm and welcoming environment that reflected the true meaning of Christmas.

The event also provided members with an opportunity to connect, share traditions, and strengthen bonds within the Robson Ranch community. Tables were decorated with holiday centerpieces, and a beautifully plated dinner was served, making the evening both elegant and inviting.

Club leaders emphasized that the Christmas gathering was not only a time for celebration but also a chance to reflect on the year’s accomplishments. From hosting monthly forums with elected officials to volunteering during elections, the Robson Ranch Republican Club has remained active in promoting civic engagement throughout Denton County. The Christmas event served as a fitting conclusion to a year of service and participation.

As the evening drew to a close, attendees left with a renewed sense of community and holiday spirit. The combination of Rafael Cruz’s inspiring words and Odessa’s uplifting music made the celebration memorable.
