There will be seven glorious stops on the 11-day cruise from San Diego to Vancouver! Here are a few ideas of what to see and do.
San Diego: Acquired from Spain in 1542, tour the beautiful missions and parks, a world-famous zoo and historic gas lamp quarters with great shopping and eating. Come a day early to explore.
Santa Barbara: Known as the American Riviera, it offers wonderful walking and foodie tours as well as wine bars and wineries along with historical architecture.
Monterey: Most visited are the world class aquarium and Cannery Row. Our ship docks at a fun pier, home of one of the city’s oldest and most famous restaurants, Old Fisherman’s Grotto.
San Francisco: We cruise under the Golden Gate hoping for competing fog horns. Ride the cable cars and travel down crooked Lombard Street. You can ferry over to beautiful Sausalito. Two days to see lots of fun and head to the wine country. Book a trip on the wine train!
Astoria: This is where the Columbia River feeds into the Pacific Ocean. You can see museums, national monuments, historical parks and enjoy quaint shopping.
Seattle: In Pioneer Square take the underground tour built atop pre-1889 Seattle. Spend time in Pikes Market, watch the flying fish, tour the Boeing Plant, enjoy fabulous restaurants on the coast and listen to world famous jazz.
Victoria: Remember to spend time in Butchart’s fabulous gardens! Have tea at the Empress Garden Hotel or watch the water taxis. Join in and explore the coast line. Great beer gardens too.
Vancouver: You dock the last morning. You can fly home or enjoy more time in a wonderful city.
