The Catholic Community celebrated the Christmas season on Dec. 2 with dinner, games, and good conversation in the Robson Ranch clubhouse.
The Book Group met on Dec. 10 to discuss The Great Divorce, by C.S. Lewis. Lewis’ imaginative novel begins with a bus ride and leads to reflection about heaven and hell and the choices we make every day. Their next get-together will be on Feb. 25 to discuss A Song for Nagasaki: The Story of Takashi Nagai—a Scientist, Convert, and Survivor of the Atomic Bomb, by Paul Glynn. Glynn writes a story of forgiveness and redemption—perfect preparation for Lent.
The next meeting of the Catholic Community will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m. in the Heritage Room of the RR clubhouse. Ryan Kagay will talk about the Early Church Fathers. Ryan is one of the founders of the St. Mark’s Men’s Rosary Group and is currently in the Diaconate Discernment program for the Diocese of Fort Worth.
It’s not too late to sign up to participate in the Potluck Group. It’s a fun way to get to know fellow Catholics and enjoy a great meal.
