It has been a very active year for the Robson Ranch Catholic Community. Our monthly gatherings have been filled by exceptional speakers, and we have all come away with a renewed appreciation for our beautiful faith. Our speakers have taught and inspired us to keep moving forward in our faith journey, which is different for each member. We’ve had faith study groups and socials, and our potluck dinner group has grown this year. Our potlucks are a wonderful way to really get to know other members in a relaxed environment.
Our group has gone on field trips, both near and far. Our first field trip was attended by over 50 members and was to Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine in Oklahoma City. The second trip was much closer at the Israel Prayer Garden located at Global Spheres Center in Corinth. The garden is two acres of beautiful landscaping teeming with life. The centerpiece garden is planted and maintained by Glory of Zion International Ministries. Members who attended these field trips all said they had a wonderful time.
On May 11 members met on the patio of the Grill for our end-of-season social. The food was good, and the company was fantastic. Everyone who attended had a wonderful time socializing with friends, both new and old. Although we will not be formally meeting during the summer months, our amazing president, Joan Bridges, has a few things planned for the group to do.
If you are not already a member of the Robson Ranch Catholic Community, please feel free to join in on any of our gatherings and see what this group has to offer.
