The Robson Ranch Conservatives meet every third Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the clubhouse.
Our first speaker was a leading citizen advocate in the State of Texas, Michael Quinn Sullivan. Michael is the publisher of Texas Scorecard, which provides news, information, and commentary about the issues facing the Lone Star State. He reminded us that the topic of School Choice has been floating around Austin since the early 1990s.
Our second speaker was Jeffrey Stamm, with over 40 years of service to the Drug Enforcement Agency. He authored a book called On Dope. The worst plague hitting our country now is narco-terrorism and human trafficking. America is the most drug-dependent country on earth, and most of the drugs sold to Americans come from Mexico. Additionally, he provided statistics regarding the fact that America has created the largest demand for human trafficking.
