The Robson Ranch Democratic Club supported the Denton County Democratic Party with our first-ever official appearance at their annual fundraiser, the LBJ/Obama Dinner. The theme of the evening was “Rise Above: Perseverance in Action,” which was driven home with inspirational speeches by party officials and candidates. The keynote speaker, Dr. Dale Long, shared his experiences growing up in Birmingham, Ala., including his harrowing experience surviving the 1963 KKK bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church.
