On April 15 the day dawned early without a cloud in the sky. The wind was up causing the water to be choppy. This typically was not a good day for fishing. The Robson Ranch Fishing Club had a group going to Lake Texoma to try their luck. John Blasingame was the captain and guide for the group. John uses the Alabama rigs, and his specialty is finding the fish that want to be caught. Norbert Kronland, Larry Walker, Buddy Beauvis and Jim Galbraith from Robson Ranch along with Bob Pervsse took the challenge of finding fish this day. While the weather did not bode well for this persistent team of fishermen, Capt. John helped by finding the fish and this crew did the rest by maxing out the limit. They brought home 50 fish or 10 fish each. Two fish can be longer than 20 inches, and only eight fish can be less than 20 inches. These guys maxed out and brought home all 50 fish. Definitely Capt. John can find the fish so all you got to do is reel them in and have fun the rest of the time.

The Robson Ranch Fishing Club meets the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Wildhorse Grill. If you would like more information send an email to [email protected].

Fishing is not a matter of life or death; it is much more important than that!
