On May 9 the Robson Ranch Lions Club celebrated our first annual dance. The theme for our first dance was a sock hop. Our 130 guests, who were all decked out in ‘50s attire, enjoyed an array of great ‘50s and ‘60s music from The Smoking Woodys Band who played for two hours. Prior to the music starting, everyone enjoyed a great burger buffet of burgers, fries, and all the fixin’s you could ask for. The staff was excellent and made sure everyone was well taken care of.
Once all had eaten, everyone had the opportunity to visit our Ice Cream Soda Bar. I can say that it was a major hit with everyone, with a few folks enjoying a trip more than once!
The Robson Ranch Lions Club would like to thank all the wonderful guests who came out and made the night unforgettable and helped in contributing to the club’s important goal to purchase eye screening equipment. This equipment is for testing young children in preschool to ensure that when they start school, they will be able to see the board as clear as day!
The Robson Ranch Lions Club has already secured a date for our 2nd Annual Dance for March of 2026. We’re excited to announce the theme, date, and times as we approach 2026.
