The Ho! Ho! season is fast approaching, and what could be more fun than the Second Annual Robson Ranch Ramblers and Pilot Knob Rotary Club Christmas Concert? Okay, there may be a few other things, but we’re sure to get your Christmas stocking toes tapping in the Robson Ranch clubhouse on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 6 pm. We’ll be playing and singing your holiday favorites, along with a variety of bluegrass, originals, and popular songs.
This is the second year we’ll be supporting Denton County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). CASA intervenes for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Trained and supported community volunteers build a strong, consistent relationship with each child and their family, promote community resources, and make informed recommendations to the court. CASA is the glue that connects the pieces in a complicated child welfare system.
The concert is free, but the band and the Rotary Club ask that you open your hearts by bringing $25 or $50 gift cards from Walmart or Target or, if you prefer, cash or checks. There are lots of worthwhile organizations asking for your opened wallet in these difficult financial times, but Robson Ranch is full of generous hearts willing to share with these needy kids.
Happy Holidays from The Robson Ranch Ramblers and the Pilot Knob Rotary Club.
